Van Trailer

Van Trailer is enclosed and used mainly for palletized, cartons or loose cartons. Trailer sizes vary, but the most common sizes today are 53' or 48' in length and 102" or 96" in width.

Flatbed Trailer

Flatbed is an open flat deck in which used mainly for special equipment, heavy oversize haul load and long size freight. There a variety type of flatbeds to best selected for the freight being moved, plus loading and unloading faster as the frieght is side loaded. Straps are used to secure the load and if necessary, tarps are also used to protect the load.

LTL/Expedited LTL

LTL stands for "Less Than Truckload". This is basically anything too big for small-parcel Courier but not a complete truckload. It is typically product on skids that can be handled by a pallet jack or a forklift but it can also be loose items. In this case your freights moves with other freight from origin to destination through a series of cross-dock terminals.

Full Load TL

TL refers to "Truckload" in this case you typically pay for the entire truck and your freight is the only thing on the truck. Without being transferred to another trailer, the Truckload freight moves directly from point A to point B.
